Heading out for some Spring Break fun? Ready to plan your next summer vacation? Check out my favorite things to have when I travel!
We all need a little something to munch on while we travel. Being hangry is literally the worse thing ever. Here’s a few of my favorite healthy snacks: Chia Bars-High in fiber and only 100 cal! Fruit leather– the adult version of a fruit roll-up 😉
Who really wants to wash their hair on the go? Not me. I’m a 3 days in between washes kinda girl. These Bastiste minis are the perfect travel size and my favorite brand, best dry shampoo ever!!! I just found a travel pack of 3 at TJ Maxx for only $7.99!
3- Face Blot Sheets
There’s nothing like an oily face to start your vacation off right…not. I find that after a flight, oil absorbing sheets come in handy. These E.L.F Shine Eraser sheets do the tricks and are only $1!
4- Big Bag
I love myself a big ass purse especially when it has extra goodies like a laptop compartment or organizing pockets. TJ Maxx is my go to place for travel bags, they always have the best deals! My laptop tote was only $39.99!
Some flights can get really cold. I love having an extra layer on me to use as a blanket or pillow, plus it’s the perfect third piece to your “airport hot” outfit.
6- Lip Balm
I am a chapstick hoarder. But if I had to pick one to bring with me, it would be the mini Vaseline lip therapy cocoa butter. It keeps my lips moisturized and adds just enough glisten to freshen up my look.
7- Eye Drops
When you’re on that red eye that last thing you want is red eyes. Freshen up with a few quick eye drops. Refresh eye drops
8- Wet Ones
Do you know how many germs there are around you? Approximately a trillion (just an estimate). Gross. Having anything anti bacterial accessible is a golden travel rule! Wet Ones Travel Pack
Call me basic but I’m all about leggings. Not the sheer, underwear revealing kind, specifically lululemon wunder unders. It is definitely a staple item for me when I jet-set.
Did you know those mini alcohol bottles are small enough to meet TSA guidelines and pass through security? Did you know you can take that shot of vodka and add it to the sprite you get on the flight? Did you know that saves you almost $6 if you want a cocktail on the plane? ….#winning
Don’t like the sound of crying babies? Not in the mood to spark conversation with strangers? Block out the sound with a nice pair of noise cancelling headphones!
12- Reading Material
A vacation is the perfect opportunity to catch up on the latest celebrity gossip or get lost in a good book. Check out these 12 good reads for 2015!
When you’re ready for take off pop in a piece of gum to help ease the pressure your ears feel . My absolute favorite gum is Dentyne Pure, it freshens my breathe and the flavor lasts a very long time!
14- Portable Charger
We all know an available outlet is hard to come by in the airport. Plus you don’t want to risk a dead battery in the middle of your flight. This charger is super portable and super stylish-Ban.Do Back Me Up Charger
15- Converse Slip-Ons
This is another staple item for my travel outfits. These Shoreline Chuck-Taylors are the perfect shoe for staying comfortable as you’re on the go but are easy enough to slip on and off as you head through security.
