No Bachelor spoilers here, but I’m going to tell you where to find them and why it is SO MUCH BETTER to look up the winner of the Bachelor, starting from episode number one!
For a few seasons now, I’ve been the
weirdo person who looks up the winner of the Bachelor/Bachelorette before the first limo even pulls up. Yes, really. When I share this with people, the response I get is either “What?! Why?!” or “Yes! Me too!”.
Listen, I’m not the type of person who reads the ending of the book first or hates surprises, I just love knowing who the Bachelor or Bachelorette pick. I’ve seen every season of the show and only started looking up the winner about five seasons ago. Now I’ll never go back and it’s all thanks to Reality Steve! He lists spoilers to a bunch of reality shows on his site. He even does play by plays of episodes, I don’t know how he gets all this info!
But let’s get to it. If you’re here for the right reasons and know what you want, the link to where the winner is listed is below. If you’re not ready to commit, let me give you some reassurance. Here’s why you should look up the winner of the Bachelor:
Watch the Relationship Unfold
From the first impression rose to the final rose, see the Bachelor/Bachelorette find their person knowing they are actually finding THEIR PERSON! It’s so fun watching a love story develop. I look up the winner before the very first episode, it makes the limo arrivals that much more interesting (if that’s even possible). It is so fascinating to see whether or not the first impression rose is really foreshadowing…or how much screen time the producers give or don’t give the winner throughout the show…I mean, isn’t the suspense killing you already?!
I think we can all agree that reality show producers have a knack for keeping you on the edge of your seat and reeling you in with that next episode preview. No more falling for “the most dramatic season yet” and those all cleverly cut clips (where everyone seems to be crying)…ok we might still fall for it BUT knowing the order of the final four definitely helps with some of that weekly anxiousness.
Not 100% Guaranteed
Even though knowing takes away some of the Bachelor Finale nerves, there’s still a chance our sources could be wrong. I know, say it isn’t so…but good ol’ Reality Steve has been wrong a season or two. Actually, last season he realized he was wrong four weeks into it and had to adjust his final prediction. It is not always a 100% guarantee. So if you’re worried about not being interested anymore after looking up the winner…I can assure you, you’ll still want to watch to see if they really choose who they said they’d choose. And let’s face it, the Bachelor is like crack cocaine, one you start, you can’t stop (yes, I really just made that comparison).
Not everyone is excited about EVERY season so if you’re unsure whether or not you want to invest two months of your life, look up the winner and then decide! Knowing the winner makes you realize pretty quickly if you’ll be tuning in every week. Plus, if there happens to be no winner (which only ever happened once), you won’t have to watch 13 episodes to find out!
Haven’t you ever just wanted to know who wins? I mean that’s why we all watch in the first place right? Try it out for one season and see how you like it. Everyone I’ve convinced hasn’t regretted their decision. So go ahead, give in to your curiosity. Make your own predictions, place some bets with friends and see who guesses correctly or you can always just look it up and keep it to yourself (maybe even cross check your Bachelor fantasy bracket.) The choice is yours!
